On Art and Nature

I've been working on a painting for Burgundy Farm Country Day School's fundraising auction.  My two granddaughters, Arainn and Kenna, attend the school.  It has a charming bucolic campus with numerous classrooms and other buildings that resemble traditional barns.  It also has a real barn with goats, sheep, rabbits and other animals.  I chose as my painting subject the East Barn, at the heart of the campus, which houses the library as well as the language labs.  Here's a photo of the painting.
